Building a Support Network for Those Affected by Kidney Disease
Kidney disease affects millions of people across the United States, yet many patients and caregivers lack the practical and emotional support they need.
End the Wait is currently recruiting leaders and volunteers who can provide support for individuals and families navigating kidney disease:
- Transportation to dialysis and transplant appointments
- Meals and practical help during treatment and recovery
- Encouragement from people who understand the journey
- Education about living kidney donation
- A supportive community walking alongside them

Inspiring Living Kidney Donation
Every 14 minutes, someone is added to the kidney transplant list. There are over 100,000 people on the wait list, literally dying for a kidney. What’s worse, the average wait time for a donated kidney is longer than the life expectancy while on the list. On average, 20 people die every day waiting for a transplant.
Living kidney donation can change a life. We help educate and encourage potential donors while connecting people with transplant centers that guide the medical process.
